The forthcoming National Symposium on Japanese Language Education will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 30–31 October under the theme Empowering Educators, Enriching Education. Keynotes are by Dr David Marsh FRSA, and Dr Julie Choi of the University of Melbourne.
At a time of rapid educational, technological and social change, the theme emphasises the importance of strengthening educators’ capability, confidence and professional connectedness. By supporting teachers to learn, collaborate and adapt, the symposium aims to help them continue providing meaningful, engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all students.
Organised by the Monash Japanese Language Education Hub and The Japan Foundation, Sydney, the symposium will bring together educators, researchers and other stakeholders committed to shaping a vibrant and sustainable future for Japanese language education in Australia.
